Who We Are

Mamba Academy (“we,” “us,” “our”) builds a basketball training app inspired by the Mamba Mentality. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

• Account: email, name, username, hashed password.
• Training data: drills completed, XP earned, streaks, badges, mastery progress.
• Social data: squad memberships, chat messages you post, pickup-game RSVPs.
• Device & push tokens: anonymous Expo push tokens used only to deliver notifications you opt into.
• Subscription metadata: plan, status, expiration. We do NOT store credit card or banking data — Stripe (web) and Apple/Google (mobile) handle all payment information directly.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Your real-time location.
• Your contacts or address book.
• Photos or videos from your camera roll.
• Microphone audio.
• Your browsing history outside the app.

How We Use Your Data

• Run the app: show your drills, XP, leaderboard ranking, squad chats.
• Push notifications: pickup-game alerts and RSVP updates (only if you allow notifications).
• Improve the product: aggregate, anonymized usage analytics.
• Process subscriptions through Stripe, Apple In-App Purchase, or Google Play Billing.

Sharing

We do NOT sell your data. We share data only with: Stripe (payments), Apple/Google (in-app purchases), RevenueCat (subscription state), and our own server infrastructure provider. No advertising trackers. No third-party SDK fingerprinting.

Children

Mamba Academy is designed for ages 13 and up. If you are under 13, please don’t use this app. If we learn we’ve accidentally collected data from a user under 13, we’ll delete it.

Your Rights

• See your data — it’s all visible in the app.
• Update your name, email, etc. via your profile.
• Delete your account and all associated data — Profile → Delete Account, or contact support.
• Cancel your subscription anytime via the App Store, Google Play, or our website.

Data Retention

We keep your account data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently delete your user record, drill completions, chat messages, push tokens, and audit logs within 30 days. Subscription audit records may be retained longer for legal/tax compliance.
